Question: Why was this web site, Brotogeris.Com created?

Answer:  The brotogeris species were imported through the 1980's  in relatively high numbers.  The imported birds were known as good pets, and have an established following in the avicultural community.  Unfortunately, these birds (along with others) are no longer imported.  There are currently very few breeders of brotogeris parrots.  Since they make such excellent pets, and are so very few in number, this web site was created with the idea to provide resources to the breeders of brotogeris, and to facilitate information relating to the breeding and care of these bird species.

Question:  I have brotogeris, what does this web site offer me?

Answer:  This web site should become a valuable resource for Brotogeris links, and information regarding brotogeris species.  If you have not already done so, there is a Brotogeris Census questionnaire for you to enter information about your birds, which will be forwarded to the International Brotogeris Society.  Also if you are a breeder of brotogeris, there is a breeder information questionnaire which will allow you to list your information to be shared with the public - including other breeders.  In this way, we hope to better locate and share information for breeding, including perhaps the location for sale or trade of brotogeris birds for breeding or as pets.

Question:  I have some ideas which might be good for Brotogeris.Com - would you be interested?
